Feeding the Hungry, Sheltering the Vulnerable
At Faith UCC, we respond to Jesus’ call to love our neighbors by helping meet the most basic human needs: food, shelter, and care.
Our Efforts in Action
Access to food and safe housing is a human right, yet many in our community face hunger and housing insecurity every day. Faith UCC works to ease that burden by collecting food, preparing meals, and supporting local shelters. Through simple acts of compassion, we share God’s love and provide hope to our neighbors in need.
Food Drives & Collections
Regular collections of non-perishable items for local food banks and pantries.
Meal Preparation
Providing hot meals for individuals and families in shelters or transitional housing.
Support for Shelters
Donating clothing, blankets, and supplies to local shelters and housing programs.
Emergency Assistance
Responding quickly to urgent needs in the community through special collections and drives.
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” (Matthew 25:35)
